Hands of Renewal
Artist Note
Hands of Renewal reflects a journey of fragility transformed into strength. As a child, my hands often betrayed me shaking, unsteady, and reminding me of my vulnerabilities. Over time, I came to see them not as symbols of weakness, but as instruments of creation, healing, and rebirth.
The sculpture captures this duality: hands once uncertain now emerge with purpose, carrying both the weight of the past and the power of renewal. The textures and flowing forms embody release, growth, and the quiet resilience that comes from learning to embrace what once felt broken.
This work is not only about my own story it is an invitation for viewers to recognize the strength that lies hidden within their own fragility, and to see renewal as a process of becoming, not erasing.
